How It Works
Listening to the Community
Creator Katie Harroff leads a series of interactive workshops and community interviews in partnership with local organizations, libraries, community centers, schools, businesses, and neighborhood groups.
These workshops can be customized around themes unique to your community or follow our signature romantic comedy storytelling format.
Over the next one to two months, we gather stories, discover local voices, and begin developing an entirely original script inspired by the people who call your city home.
Every I Love You play is different because every community is different.
Bringing the City Into The Story
Once the script begins taking shape, we start producing.
Together with the partnering organization, we will:
Select the businesses and neighborhood locations where scenes will take place.
Highlight communities or districts that matter to your organization.
Partner with local theaters and artists to cast performers.
Assemble the production team and secure technical support.
The locations aren't just scenery, they become characters in the story.
Celebrating Community Through Performance!
Audience members gather at a designated meeting point before being guided through the neighborhood as the story unfolds across multiple real-world locations.
